Samsung usually offers pretty substantial trade-ins for its new folding phones. I have an old Galaxy Z Fold 3 that’s held up really well, and I held firm on trading in for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. I think at one point, Samsung was offering up to $1,000 for it. Will the same offer stand this year?

I feel like there are reports every year that Apple is going to introduce better iPad multitasking, and then we get something like Stage Manager or a different update that’s still not quite what I need to work. This year’s rumor suggests more Mac-like features. I’ve been playing with a Surface Pro 12 I bought, and I keep thinking, ’Man, it would be so nice to be able to do this on my M4 iPad Pro.’
Announced during today’s pre-I/O event, it’s called Material 3 Expressive. It adds more customization options and lots of colors and animations. It’ll drop as part of the Android 16 beta, which will also support Live Updates.
