Autocar acquired photos of Jaguar’s upcoming Super-GT electric vehicle, which is based on the automaker’s “copy nothing” brand-rebooting Type OO concept that was revealed in December. The camouflaged model confirms it will lack a rear window, a la Polestar 4.

The automaker is preparing for a big reveal of a new car in Miami on December 2nd — amidst the internet jeering at the perplexing “JaGUar” rebrand this week. Besides its HVAC-like appearance, the car’s rear seems to have a closed-off windshield, à la Polestar 4.

In new US EV charging news, the automaker will adopt Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) port in its next-generation EVs starting in 2025. Current and future I-Pace customers will also get adapters to use the 12,000-plus Tesla Superchargers beforehand, but there’s no timeframe for availability.
Jaguar is joining the likes of Ford, GM, Rivian, Volvo, Polestar, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Fisker, and Honda on essentially the same deal to get on Tesla’s winning connector.
