Apple CEO Tim Cook was seen making the rounds yesterday in New Orleans, where the Super Bowl LIX matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles is being played today. Accompanying him for at least some of that time has been fellow Apple senior VP of services Eddy Cue.

Thanks to his mild-mannered vibe, Cook tends to stand out a little in certain situations. Like in this video where he and Cue are hanging out with DJ Summit while he performs on a balcony overlooking a street-side rave on New Orleans’ Bourbon Street:

Someone in the crowd caught the moment, too:

Cook and Cue also went to get po’boys with NFL player Odell Beckham Jr. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the shop’s young patrons cared a lot more about Beckham than the billionaire CEO:

Cook made some other visits around town, mingling with employees and customers in a New Orleans Apple Store and hanging out with Apple Music radio hosts Zane Lowe and Ebro Darden.

It shouldn’t be surprising that Cook and Cue were seen palling around the city as Apple Music, which Cue heads up, is sponsoring its third Super Bowl halftime show. This year’s headliner is Kendrick Lamar, whose song “Humble” just made an exclusive appearance in the Apple Arcade version of rhythm game Synth Riders for the Vision Pro.
