Epic Games plans to bring its mobile game store and Fortnite to iOS users in Brazil in July, the company says in a post on X. The announcement follows a ruling in Brazil last week that gave Apple 90 days to allow sideloading in the country.
Last year, Epic brought back Fortnite and launched the mobile Epic Games Store on iOS in the EU in August after Apple was forced to allow third-party app stores in the EU to comply with the Digital Markets Act.
The judge who issued the ruling in Brazil said that “Apple has already complied with similar obligations in other countries without demonstrating significant impact or irreparable harm to its economic model.” Apple plans to appeal the ruling.
The Epic Games Store launched on iPad in the EU in September. Epic has also brought back Fortnite and launched the Epic Games Store on Android, but those are both available globally.
